- Northern Re

al Estate Urban Ventures has been accepted for the 2016 Inner City Capital Connections Program Philadelphia to begin June 23rd 2016.

 

May 2016
- NREUV awarded the FFE contract for The Beacon Center, a 99 unit affordable housing and church renovation project in Ward 4 of Washington DC

 

February 2016
- Principal of NREUV voted as Developer of the Year by the DC National Organization of Minority Architects.

- Principal of NREUV is part of the leadership team on two development projects that are site award winners by Built by Women - for the Nannie Helen at 4800 and the John & Jill Ker Conway Residence.

May 2014

– NREUV has been engaged as Owners Representative by the Points Of Light Foundation


April 2014

– Principal of NREUV has been named one of the 2014 Brava! Award Winner recipients


March 2014

– NREUV has been engaged as Owners Representative and Development Consultant by McCormack Baron Salaza


January 2014

– Community First Development, a joint venture with A. Wash & Associates have been selected by Prince Georges County MD Redevelopment Authority, to develop 210 Maryland Park Drive in Capitol Heights MD. This will be a flagship project of market rate apartments located near the Capitol Heights metro.


November 2013

– The Nannie Helen at 4800 has received an AIADC Award for Urban Design!


October 2013

– Principal of NREUV named a 2013 Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise (Top 100 MBE) Award winner

– Principal of NREUV is selected by 100 Black Men Of Greater WDC and the President’s Women Organization as one of the 2013 Women of Color Achievement Award recipients.


– The Beacon Center gets selected to go to Underwriting - the next level with DHCD!


August 2013 – NREUV has been engaged as Real Estate Advisor and Development Consultant to Howard University.


May 2013 – The Nannie Helen at 4800, a mixed use property in Ward 7 in Washington DC is complete!


July 2013 – NREUV assisted The OpenDoor Housing Fund in getting approved for the National Community Stabilization Trust; an REO property donation program


May 2013 – The Nannie Helen at 4800, a mixed use property in Ward 7 in Washington DC is complete!


February 2013 – NREUV received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Dept. of Employment Services for being a valued partner through Mayor Vincent Gray’s “One City-One Hire initiative.


December 2012
– NREUV has received a “Notice to Proceed” to provide Real Estate Development Services to the District of Columbia Housing Authority.

– After responding to an RFQ, NREUV has been placed on the list of qualified consultants to provide Real Estate Advisory Services for consideration on future projects to the Redevelopment Authority of Prince Georges County, MD.


August 2012 – NREUV helps the Emory Beacon of Light Church obtain SAFI approval.


July 2012 – NREUV was engaged by Bundy Development Corporation to provide Real Estate advisory services.


October 2011 – NREUV wins AHP for the Nannie Helen.


September 2011 – NREUV designated asset manager and underwriter for Open Door Housing Fund.


August 2011
– The Nannie helen proceeds towards demolition.


February 2010 The Beacon Center Receives its Zoning Approval.


January 2010 NREUV is hired as Development Manager for the 4800 NHB New Communities Project.
